Applied Control Equipment has been serving the process control needs of the Rocky Mountain region, as the sales and service representative of Fisher Controls and Emerson Process Management, since 1986. Our history goes back to 1923 when the first Fisher Controls’ sales representative office was established in Denver. Since then, four generations of process control professionals have committed themselves to providing unmatched sales and service. We serve mining, power generation, refining, chemical, food & beverage, oil & gas production, gas distribution, and similar industries in Colorado, Wyoming, Montana and sections of Nebraska and South Dakota. We’ve also successfully completed numerous local and export projects working with regional engineering companies.

Applied Control Equipment employs over 70 highly skilled professionals. Our sales staff is factory trained on Fisher’s broad product line and applications capability. Many of our employees are former Fisher employees. They bring a wealth of knowledge and relationships that give us an added edge. Our staff includes inside and outside sales/applications engineers, parts specialists, control systems specialists, warehouse personnel, field service personnel, plus administrative and support personnel. We stock Fisher valves, regulators and related parts. We repair and remanufacture Fisher valves and regulators in our repair shop and in the customer’s plant. We do sophisticated valve diagnostics to help customers better manage their assets. We provide consulting services to help our customers improve their process control and increase productivity. We have our own training center where we train our customers on the selection, application and maintenance of Fisher products. We also do on-site training. Our sales and service capabilities are truly extensive.

We have on-line electronic communication capability that allows us to communicate quickly and effectively with Fisher’s worldwide operations, sales offices and representatives. We have personnel experienced in using these communication capabilities to manage the challenging logistics of large projects. We also have extensive computer and software capabilities to help us size, select, document, quote and service Fisher’s broad product line. Our people are experienced in using these capabilities. We’re confident our overall process control experience and project management capabilities are unmatched in the Rocky Mountain Region.
